We hadn't been out very long when we saw our first crocodile He looks rather like a floating log, but we saw him move off the shore into the water
The trees appear to grow right to the edge of the water
An iguana sunning on the branch behind the leaves in the center
The iguana moved into a better position while we quietly coasted up toward him
Mangroves grow air roots down from the branches into the water
The mass of mangrove roots would make land travel next to impossible
We got out and walked to hunt for monkeys Here is a guanacaste tree, after which the province is named |
